Daniel Borrajo
About Me
I’m Daniel Borrajo, and my interests lie at the intersection of core AI research and real-world application. I hold a full Professorship at UC3M and lead AI Research at J.P. Morgan — roles that allow me to both push the boundaries of algorithmic planning and deploy AI solutions at scale.
My work centres on automated planning, heuristic search, and multi-agent systems, and I particularly enjoy the challenge of adapting foundational AI techniques to complex domains such as finance, logistics, and smart agents.
Short bio
Dr. Daniel Borrajo is a full Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) and, since 2019, a Research Director in AI at J.P. Morgan AI Research. He is the founder of the Planning & Learning Group and he has been leading it until 2019.
